Enrollment
Dance classes typically begin after Labor Day*, and the dance school year culminates the last weekend in May prior to Memorial Day weekend. Classes are offered in ballet, jazz, tap, hip-hop and lyrical for 2-1/2 year old children through teens.

Under 9 Years Old Enrollment
For under age 9-year-old students, enrollment for the 2011-2012 season begins on Monday, April 11, 2011 at our dance studio office (after 8:30AM). Enrollment must be completed in-person for the first day only, and is on a first come-first served basis. Mail-in, drop off or telephone registrations are permissible after April 11. Enrollment is ongoing until a class is full.

Nine (9) Years & Older Enrollment
There is no printed schedule for 9-year-old & older classes. For these classes, registration begins Wednesday, June 1, and we urge parents of these students to register before July 1 so that classes can be set for the Fall. Where possible, we will try to maintain continuity of class scheduling from last year's schedule. Most 9-year-old and older classes are leveled.

Tuition
For students (or families) enrolled in less than 3 classes per week, there are 2 payments. The first payment is due at registration and the second payment is due November 15.

For students (or families) enrolled in 3 or more classes per week, a monthly payment is payable through eight months, September – April, after making the initial payment at registration.

A registration charge will be applied against all refunded tuition's. There will be no tuition refunds after November 15th.

Dance Wear and Shoes
For your convenience, throughout the school year, dance wear and shoes are available for purchase at the dance school. We carry a full line of high quality, well priced merchandise including many beautiful leotard styles, ballet shoes, jazz shoes, and tap shoes. In addition to these essentials, we also carry tights, dance sweaters, jazz pants, sweat pants, sweat shirts and dance bags. Keep in mind dancewear items make great birthday and Christmas gifts! We know how important it is for your child to feel comfortable as she/he learns to dance. We always take great care to properly fit your childs' dance wear and shoes.

Beginning Tuesday August 23, the school store will be open for dancewear purchases on the following days and times:

Monday, Tuesday & Wednesday 10am – 5pm

Thursday 10am – 7pm

Friday (Aug 26 & Sept 9) 10am – 4pm

Saturday (Aug 27 & Sept 10) 10am – 4pm

If you have not done so, please purchase dancewear before the September 12th school opening date.

Dancewear and shoes will not be available for sale during the first week of school.

Payments for dance wear are by check or cash – no credit cards please.

Parent Observation Week
Parents only are welcome to observe the dance classes inside the classroom during this week. This will enable parents to experience the classroom atmosphere…the combination of music, instruction and student response.
