Tracy
Fleming Barker, originally from St. Louis, Missouri, began
studying dance at the age of four. She has opened shows
for such legends as Bob Hope, Sammy Davis, Jr. and Bobby
Rydell at the Fox Theater in St. Louis. After moving to
New York City, Tracy performed extensively throughout the
world in numerous roles and productions. They include: "Velma
& Anybodys" in tours of West Side Story ; "Cha-Cha"
in the European tour of Grease; "Alice" in Seven
Brides for Seven Brothers; at Drury Lane Oakbrook Theater
in Chicago. She has also appeared in Sweet Charity, Jesus
Christ Superstar, 42nd Street, Anything Goes, Meet Me In
St. Louis and Me & My Girl.
Tracy has assisted several New York City choreographers
in numerous workshops, and, over the past fifteen years,
has experience teaching ballet, jazz, tap and tumbling in
St. Louis, Chicago and the New York City area.
Michele
Utzig-Philage
Michele
grew up in Buffalo, NY, competing in dance competitions
and pageants. She attended the University at Buffalo where
she was a member of the Zodiaque Dance Company for four
years and graduated with a BA in Dance Performance, She
has taught at many dance studios through the Western New
York area and also adjudicates for dance competitions. Michele
moved to New York City seven years ago to train at Broadway
Dance Center, New Dance group, Luigi's Jazz Center, and
Steps on Broadway as a scholarship student. Michele performed
on the national tours of "Crazy For You," "Peter
Pan" and "Barry Manilow's Copacabana." She
has also performed regionally in "Guys & Dolls,"
"Beauty and the Beast," "The King and I,"
"Will Rogers Follies," "Anything Goes,"
"A Funny Thing ... Forum," "Oklahoma,"
"Cabaret," and "Funny Girl" just to
name a few. Michelle has danced in commercials, music videos
and several industrials. She hair models for L'Oreal and
has danced at Carnegie Hall with Elaine Stritch and the
Rockettes. She can been seen in The Producers movie musical
as a "girl in pearls." This summer she will be
performing in "42nd Street" at The Mountain Playhouse
in PA. She is a proud member of Actors' Equity. Michele
lives in Manhattan with her new husband Brian. This is her
first year at Miss Patti's, and she wishes to thank all
her wonderful students for their hard work and dedication.
