Cleanliness
We hope you will help us maintain the beauty and cleanliness of our school for our young dancers. We ask that no food, gum or drinks be brought in the school for dancers, visiting siblings, and parents.

Supervision
Please supervise all visiting children.

Preparedness
We want your childs' dance experience to be wonderful and full of fun. The most successful classes result when all the students are ready and eager to start class on time and give full attention to instruction. Needless to say, teachers are pleased when their students are prepared. It enables the teacher to have good classes and they are able to give a full period of instruction.

Lost and Found
We know how easy it is, in all the fun and excitement, for our young dancers to misplace their belongings so, please be sure that your child's name is clearly marked on all clothing and shoes. All found items will be placed in the Lost and Found bin in the dressing room. Valuable items will be kept in the office.

Dress Code

HAIR & DRESS CODE

For the dancer to be unencumbered, hair should be worn in a bun, with long hair pins and a hairnet or snood.

The dress code for all classes is a black leotard and pink tights.

Girls in the one hour jazz classes (8 year old and above) may wear biker pants with their leotards.

SHOES

Pink ballet slippers.

Black tap shoes for 7 year old classes and under.

Beige (flat) tap shoes for 8 year old classes)Tap II-Tap VIII) and above.

White jazz shoes for 6/7, and 8 year old classes.

Black jazz shoes for 9 year old classes and above.

PLEASE NOTE: We have in stock all the above dance shoes. If your child has dance shoes that still fit, but do not meet the required dress code color, she may use them for class until they need to be replaced. Please put dancer's name on all dance wear and dance shoes. Tap shoes are not to be worn outdoors.
